No School Monday, January 18

mlk i have a dream

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there will be no school on Monday, January 18. Nearly sixty years after Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream,” speech, his important messages about equity, diversity and inclusion offer powerful reminders about the work we must continue to do now and in the future.

HHS students are encouraged to take a break from screens, grab a friend or sibling, and join their peers at the HHS track for an hour of COVID-friendly group and walking activities each Monday and Wednesday this month. Read more about Hawk Activity Hour here.

Reminder: snow day information

snowy road

It’s about that time of year when we can start to expect to occasionally see inclement weather in our region, which could affect school operations. Please take a moment to review HSD’s inclement weather plan so you know what to expect in the event of a snow/weather emergency. A test robocall will go out via the HSD’s emergency callout system in the coming days. Please make sure your contact information is up to date in Skyward.
